I'm an educational linguist and teacher educator, currently working as a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of English and American Studies at the University of Vienna.

My research interests revolve around the impact of different types of instruction in foreign language classes as well as learners' recreational use of English. I typically adopt a cross-national perspective in my research, exploring language learning contexts in primary and secondary education across Europe.
